Even if it has the “wrong” engine

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Was cool to see the Ecoboost on Top Gear this week, even if they did the same thing everyone else does. ‘I like it but it should be a V8 because reasons’

Nice EB. It’s funny because I took my girlfriends Mazda today and left the GT at home. Oh well maybe I’ll drive it later.

Screw that “wrong engine” crap.

From 1979 to 1993 the 4 banger Mustangs outsold the V8 cars by a yuge margin.

There’s no wrong engine for a Mustang!

Dude, an ecoboost just took LeMans... (ok, it was the 3.5 and not the 2.3, but still - it sure wasn’t some big lump of iron.) When the Mustangs came back to IMSA in 81 it wasn’t running a V8 - it was a turbo inline 4.

I mean stock block 1.6 EBs do fine in rallying. It’s an awesome family of engine. If they made a 3.5 EB Mustang, I would buy that over the GT.
